Alberto Magnelli “La Méditerranée retrouvée ” (1888-1971)
The Alberto Magnelli exhibition ” La Méditerranée retrouvée “, invites visitors to discover the work of this self-taught painter from Florence through a retrospective of nearly 200 works gathered in the collection of the Sapone gallery in Nice. These paintings and drawings have opened the door to the work of this protagonist who inaugurated, in his time, the beginnings of the abstract art.
The presented paintings allow not only to discover the research of Magnelli to escape the figuration, but also to develop his vision of the world, with sensitive and poetic works that reveal the whole innovative work of the painter.
Open every day from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm – except Friday from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm – Up to October 25.
