#VEM8, the Event of the e-tourism” trip in Multimedia “returns for its 8th edition at the Palais des Festivals from January 18 through the 20.
If the word e-tourism makes you afraid then ward off bad luck and your anxieties and come and attend #VEM8. This event has the objective to raise the awareness of the different actors, institutional and private, to the challenges of new technologies applied to the tourism sector, culture and sport; and to increase their level of expertise in this area in order to improve their competitiveness.
With more than 1200 visitors expected, 90 companies exhibiting on 3000 m² of showroom, 70 stakeholders, 30 workshops by target and by level, a OFF program on the 18th and a journey of innovation, this edition is going to be rich and with training for all Pros from tourism.
Participating in the event is the opportunity to meet the fine Tourism innovation and of the Smart Tourism. There is also the assurance to discover there and to take ownership of a concentrate of solutions, a network for the sharing and exchange of experiences in the heart of the universe of tourism.
All the professionals of tourism of Cannes can benefit from the gratuity in the event via two partner organizations:

* The CCI Nice Côte d’Azur
Regis Courvoisier, the organizer of the event has concocted several routes including one journey of seven workshops on Thursday, January 19, any especially dedicated to hoteliers (schedule here, workshops in red)

– the CM on the beach or otherwise said the appointment of the community manager of tourism.
– A workshop on artificial intelligence.
The Conference Plenary ” Grand témoins”, which commits the reflection on the uses of and new technologies in the tourism landscape of tomorrow is a key moment of the event. The speech will be given this year by two experts with Gabrielle GAUTHEY Director of the Investment and of the Local Development of the Deposits and Consignment Office, and Nicolas Beaumont, CEO Michelin Travel Partner.
