Here is a winter with novelties with my selection of a few new good addresses with daily and nightly tasting. To be tried without moderation as both the concepts and the quality are there!!! To be experimented from sunrise to sunset.
At the heart of her bakery with an American trend, Brigitte produces a selection of cakes and biscuits all more beautiful than the others. From the cheesecakes, carrot-cakes, cookies, brownies and apfelstrudel, the showcase is an undoubtedly call to the tasting of one of those funny cakes. No hesitation to be tempted, because in Bridget’s Bakery everything is beautiful, bio, gluten free with untreated fruits. The highlight of the show is reached with her beautiful birthday cakes, very US 50’s, at an affordable price for an original feast dessert (from 30 € for 6 people). Cherry on the brownie, she also proposes a stop for lunch with the daily salted pie or the sandwiches to go and to geek. Open from Tuesday to Saturday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm. 5 rue Tony Allard – T: +33 (0)4 22 10 30 21
Still in rue Tony Allard, is a bar “Ristorante Italiano”, as the “Maestro” owner of this place sings it so well. Hazelnut offers Italian cuisine, but also the breakfast with true Italian ‘cappuccino’, plates of cold meats and cheeses, fresh homemade pasta, suggestions of the day and with dishes to take away. Open from morning to evening, closed on Sunday. 6, Rue Tony Allard – T: +33 (0) 9 67 55 70 35
Selection Gourmet Shop
In the heart of Cannes, on the train station square which was just inaugurated, a new grocery store has opened its doors. Near the very original Hotel Colette, Selection Gourmet Shop offers demanding products. Yolande Mestre chooses small producers always at less than 250 km from Cannes. The artisanal jam, AOP olive oils from the Beaux de Provence, or the rarest oil of pine nuts or pecans with cooked dishes coming from small canning factories, tapenades, everything is chosen with care to create a beautiful bud of discoveries. All products are packed in refined boxes just for the pleasure to offer. 5 Place de la Gare – T: +33 (0) 9 86 30 41 18
The Bivouac Wine Bar
Only two steps from the Five Hotel, two friends, including a sommelier, being trained in a restoration of quality, have chosen to open this elegant Wine Bar with an original concept. In fact there, champagne and wine are served and sorted with great service as their hallmark. In a chic and relaxed atmosphere, the Bivouac provides access to things that are well made and rare, the wine is classified by color and the choice is offered with the expert advice of the Sommelier. The association between dishes and wines is done on the black pork of Perigord, the heart of salmon, the foie gras, the cheeses of Chez Mons and for the sweet key, the chocolates, macaroons and the marshmallows of the neighbor Champion of France Pastry Jerome de Oliveira. Open Monday through Saturday from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm – 14 rue Bivouac-Napoléon – T: =33 (0) 4 97 06 54 26
This place hosted the best nightclubs of the 1990s and more recently the places to relax with a drink at the end of the day or before and after work. Today, the Christie combines all of these atmospheres and even more! Here, Jeremie the bartender, renowned internationally, officiates with a supplement of soul, adding to his technique the passion of an artist. With a search of new flavors and textures, his menu offers a real journey of discovery.
The menu of the Chef Laurent Beaumont offers a cuisine inspired to wake up the taste buds, amaze our references and shake our habits, mainly based on sharing. And when the evening comes, the establishment undergoes a metamorphosis… a place of quality with a strong identity which will install itself each night of the week. Chrystie then becomes the living showcase of music, cabaret and of the art of the wine. A fun way to further enrich the evenings in Cannes. 22 rue Macé – T: =33 (0) 4 93 99 66 91
