The pizza is a real institution and is adapted to any circumstances, either for a diner after work between colleagues , after a movie with family, or my favorite pizza called “La flemme du dimanche” (Sunday laziness). Cannes leads among the other cities where the pizza reigns under the friendliness sign.
Recently, Tripadvisor revealed its ranking of the best places in France where to eat a good pizza. Cannes got the fourth rank in France among the cities where we can find the best pizzerias. To guide you, I have prepared a selection of the inescapable places not very well known but much worthwhile.

Created in 1960 on the Old Port of Cannes, this place is symbolic. The pizzas are fleshy, the service is perfect and it is open very late in the evening.

The pizzas are cooked on wood fire, the service is quick and agreeable, and this place is suitable for an evening with family or friends. The restaurant is big and decorated in a typical Italian style.

The cuisine of the Foppiani family places great emphasis on Italian specialties as pasta, risotto and pizzas. We can admire an old machine to make the raviolis which is right at the entrance of the restaurant. The Foppiani family have the qualify label of Maitre Chef, which means that the cuisine is home made with fresh products.
