Watch the most beautiful fireworks in Cannes. Each summer for almost 50 years, the Pyrotechnic Fireworks Festival showcases fireworks that are among some of the most original anywhere, created by companies from around the world which compete for an international renowned reward called The Golden Vestal. The first fireworks were shot on July 14 and launched the festival with 6 firework displays in total during the summer. There are a lot of people in Cannes for those magic evenings and therefore it’s good to know where to watch the fireworks in order to enjoy the memory of an unforgettable evening.

The nearest areas to view the firework display’s launched on the beaches of La Croisette
You go for a picnic around 7:00pm and you wait quietly for the nightfall. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. You must like to be surrounded by people, because this is where the crowds are the largest. If you were too lazy to prepare your picnic, you can enjoy the restaurants on the private beaches that provide special offers for those evenings. Transat, champagne, that special dinner… you are not the only one but you feel good! Everything is together, the spectacular view on the fireworks, and the musical accompaniment spread on the entire Croisette.

The most different: Sainte-Marguerite Island
If you have the opportunity to spend the night on the island, either because you participate in the animations of Cannes Jeunesse (Youth Club), or because you have chosen to sleep in the Fort Vauban, it’s an ideal point of view in a natural idyllic setting in the heart of the island facing the bay of Cannes.
The most marine: Dinner Cruise

If you like being on the water, in good company, an original evening embellished with a special dinner for the occasion, you can enjoy a cruise in the bay. Departure is from the Quai Laubeuf at the pier where the boats depart to the Lérins islands. Several options are proposed, from the simple stroll on the sea to the aperitif or dinner.

The highest: from the top terraces of the hotels
Unless you’re lucky enough to have relatives or a friend who owns a terrace on the Croisette, you can watch the fireworks from the terraces of the establishments. The hotels Martinez, Carlton, Marriott and Radisson provide stunning views.

The highest point:
There is a very beautiful view from the Place de la Castre above the Old Port, in a picturesque environment in the heart of the oldest district of Cannes.
Another great view is on the hill of the Croix des Gardes, in the heart of a natural park with Mediterranean essences. A little further away but the opportunity to be a little quieter for a bucolique evening.
From le Chemin des Collines, the highest and most beautiful view on the bay and in the heart of the district of the Californie and the most beautiful mansions. Attention! Even being that far away, the point of view is so magical that you have to come in advance to be able to find a place to park.
