If by any chance you come to Cannes in September, I advise you to go to the Yachting Festival, the show for pleasure boats. Either being rich or broke, this big exhibition is really worthwhile. Here is a summary with 6 points to prepare for your visit.

1/ The Super Yachts Extension welcomes around 40 of the biggest yachts to the Old Port. This year, it welcomes the Baglietto at 46 meters long, and the biggest sailboat, the Seawave, presented by the South-African builder, Southern Wind.

2- Max Laubeuf Quay presents a variety of sailboats and motorboats afloat as well as many motorboats displayed on the ground.

3- RIB Village with 80 inflatable boats and semi-rigid.

4- Saint-Pierre Quay welcomes the sailboats with measurements between 12 and 27 meters as well as medium size motorboats.

5- The Catamaran area welcomes around 40 boats between 10 and 22 meters long. It is one of the biggest gatherings of multihulls in Europe.

6- Thursday September 10, 2015 from 5:00pm to 6:30pm, there is the Concours d’Elégance.
This show takes place in the heart of the event, in the Old Port and offers a show of rare day-boats, vintage and modern in order to honor the rich history of the yachting. This event is the unique opportunity for the visitors to admire a classic and sophisticated fleet of yachts, collection boats and also all the newest innovations presented in this festival.
