It’s Spring, the birds are singing, the sun is beginning to show its face more and more and finally, Easter is here!
Just for the occasion, I have selected the best activities for you to enjoy in Cannes over this long weekend. On the agenda: relaxation, sweet treats, discovery and an awakening of the senses!
Visit the Le Suquet district and discover Forville Market
Discover the authentic side of Cannes by visiting the Le Suquet pedestrian district. Its view will allow you to admire the bay and La Croisette.
One of the most popular locations in Le Suquet is the Forville Market. Located at the bottom of the hill, this typically Provencal market has gained a reputation for the quality, freshness and wide variety of its products: perfect for discovering a few local specialities and shopping for your Easter meal!

There’s nothing better for relaxing between two chocolates!

Indulge in the traditional egg hunt
The Easter Bunny has paid a visit, and the favourite children’s activity can begin at last! With the return of the good weather, enjoy the city’s parks and gardens to organize an Easter egg hunt.
Often called the “city’s green lung”, La Croix des Gardes is the perfect place for some fun and relaxation with family or friends! Some viewpoints also offer a panoramic vista over the entire bay of Cannes and the surrounding mountain ranges.
Furthermore, several hotels are also organizing their own Easter egg hunts in their private grounds! For example, the Grand Hôtel is organizing an Easter meal and an Easter egg hunt especially for hotel and restaurant clients!

Discover Saint Honorat island
For a little more tranquillity, opt for a trip to Saint Honorat Island. Only 25 minutes by boat from the city, Saint Honorat Island is one of the two Lérins islands in the Bay of Cannes. Inhabited by a community of monks, the island is as exotic as it is peaceful.
In the course of a day, you can visit the Monastery, try the wines produced by the monks, stroll through the island’s 40 hectares and lunch in the sunshine at the La Tonnelle restaurant. In short, a day in paradise.
Sport session on La Croisette
Cannes was voted an active and athletic city, and it wasn’t for nothing! There are several areas for enjoying sporting activities. On land or sea, the choice is yours!
And after a weekend rich in adventures and sweet treats, there is nothing better than burning off the excess with a quick jog along the famous La Croisette.
