But before they are able to provide information ad hoc information and handle all the questions asked to them, it sometimes needs weeks of experience.
Where can one enjoy a Socca? Where can one find a beach which welcomes children? From where can we see the most beautiful point of view on the bay of Cannes? How do you book an evening show?
In order to make them acquainted with all the surprising questions from the tourists they will have to answer, the Cannes Tourist Office has organized a morning of training in the form of a guided tour of the city punctuated with practical information, technical elements as well a visit of the Musée de la Castre with a cultural mediator.
This training is available for all the seasonal workers in Cannes : hotel partners, restaurant owners, beach attendants, taxi drivers, real estate agencies, shops including the team members of the Charter “Only Cannes” which guarantee the quality of welcoming.
At the end of this guided visit by the team of the Tourist Office, they receive a kit of brochures that will serve as their ‘bible’ throughout the season.
A souvenir photo on the red carpet of the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès closes this visit with a well versed knowledge of the destination Cannes.
