A new chic potato-based snack bar, a steakhouse in the heart of the old town, a Kusmi Tea boutique… Discover our latest favourite places that have opened in Cannes.

Pomms Amsterdam
Just one minute from the Palais des Festivals, this concept from Amsterdam offers a full range of kroketten (stuffed croquettes): beef, chicken, cheese, shrimp and even lobster!
To round off this tasty offer there are fish’n’chips, frikandels and beef meatballs , known as “Bitterballen”, and above all a diverse range of different sauces: truffle mayonnaise, “Amsterdam” sauce… all stemming from an exotic touch with the peanut-based satay sauce.
A beer imported from Amsterdam or even a simple Heineken, created long ago in the “Heineken Brouwerij” (Heineken brewery) in Amsterdam, to complete the journey.

Pomms Amsterdam, frites et croquettes

Cones of chips accompany the stuffed croquettes. Jute potato sacks form an integral part of the décor. The raw material is within reach for chips that are prepared on site.

Even if this is not super diet-friendly, we can allow ourselves one lapse per week !

It should be noted that the products are all extra fresh; the potatoes are peeled and fried within minutes.

DELICIOUS! Fresh, homemade chips, various types of “kroketten” (you must try the old-fashioned “Kroket” with Dutch cheese) and a wide selection of accompaniments (black truffle or rosemary and seafood mayonnaise, mmm…..!) Levina

The décor in white tiles, stainless steel and wood gives a faintly industrial feel to this space that is slightly surprising to those who have not travelled to the Netherlands. Open from 11:00 to 22:00 – 4 rue des Belges.

A simple and efficient concept menu. The ingredients are chosen with care and you can mix and match between a choice of a meat or fish, a choice of sauces and a choice of accompaniments. Simple and delicious. “My advice: do not forego the desserts, they are all home-made.”
The atmosphere in this restaurant is a perfect match to the authentic setting in the alleyways sloping down from “Suquet” old town, where many traditional restaurants know how to try out new things.

I loved the excellent flank steak platter, a meat that was exquisitely well prepared and in generous proportions. Excellent quality-to-price ratio and a special shout out for the friendly welcome.

Open from 19:00 – 23:00 – 16 Rue Saint Antoine – Tel.: +33 (0)4 93 30 18 31 – www.meatcannes.com

Kusmi Tea
After Paris, New-York and Tokyo, there is finally a Kusmi Tea boutique in Cannes !
We can find fully refined and unique Russian blends, Earl Greys, green teas and wellbeing teas, all packed in pretty, colourful metal boxes.
Founded in 1867 in Saint-Petersburg by Pavel Michailovitch Kousmichoff, the brand supplied the court of the Tsars.
In just a few years, Kusmi-tea expanded into Europe, London, Berlin and then Paris in 1917. Viatcheslav, the founder’ son who was forced into exile following the Bolshevik revolution, installed the company at 75 Avenue Niel in Paris, which has retained its original glory and is now a museum.
In Cannes, the boutique is conversely very modern, colourful and full of life.kusmi-tea2

My favourites: in the morning I start with a Detox or a Boost depending on my mood, and on the night before! I keep Anastasia or Prince Vladimir for teatime, and at other times I let myself be tempted by one of their well-being teas.

10 Rue d’Antibes· 10:00–19:00

The boutique has moved, choosing to set up shop in Rue du Commandant André, the most stylish street in Cannes. The Ba&sh world is one of timeless essentials that combine style and comfort, and currently has a presence in over 400 points of sale across the globe, the ba&sh duo have designed their lines as an intimate signature where every woman can discover the items that will make her exceptional. 25 Rue du Commandant André – Cannes

I adore their pieces, which are both purist or more specialized, day or night, in monochrome shades, such as their exclusive prints, ranging from a deep navy blue to an energetic yellow, from a flexible and transparent georgette to imposing fabrics.

The brand has moved to set up in a beautiful space spread over 3 storeys right in the middle of Rue d’Antibes, the street where every shop name can be found, a truly open-air shopping centre.
Here you can find the major classics from the Spanish brand: “beautiful clothes, affordable prices”, with new models every week.

The store is white, bright and airy around corners that have a refined style

Open from 10:00 to 19:00 Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 20:00 on Saturday and 11:00 to 18:00 on Sunday. 72 Rue d’Antibes · 04 97 06 10 10
